Napoleon is originally a Bachelor in Electronic Engineering Engineer who has worked as consultant for 21 years. He has been active within the field of Automotive engineering for the majority of his career.
As a consultant he held several roles within RnD, all from mechanical engineering team lead to component ownership for electrical control units (ECU). The last assignment was within battery traction systems, originally supporting functional development as well as driving the daily work with suppliers. This task required a certain level of technical understanding and primary the ability to get supplier of hardware, software and complete battery units to collaborate in a good way.
Napoleon is originally from the eastcoast and lived there for 15 years before moving to the westcoast. Before the move he spent a lot of time creating things, such as building rafts, hut’s in the trees, race tracks for BMX and other endeavours.
He was curious on how things worked and was not afraid of trying things which obviously could go wrong, which sometimes they did. It was probably also during this time he learned the traits of trying, testing and learning, it was never seen as failing.
After the move to the westcoast he raised his interest in finance, self development and companies in general. He also picked up playing Golf, something he had tried in the very early years. Napoleons interest for the business environment grew along with the time he spent as an employed consultant.
In 2013, he decided to start Torque Engineering and 3 years later the business expanded to become an employer of other people who would like to join a consultant company. His passion and commitment to building a company culture which is far above the ordinary, this is actually also one of the activities where he relaxes and enjoys. Other things you may find him doing during his spare time is driving motorcycle, enjoying Golf or working on the company track day car. As a person, Napoleon is trustworthy, humble and has a high level of respect for great entrepreneurs. A few of his role models are Warren Buffet, Richard Branson, Simon Sinek, JP Morgan, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk and the Swedish founder of AGA, Gustaf Dalén.

Nitin is a driven automation project engineer with more than 12 years of considerable hands-on work experience within the field of automotive, automation & heavy industry.
Nitin previous assignment at Volvo Penta started as an Engine calibration engineer where he excelled the different protocols to tune diesel engines to comply to emission norms. Later, in the role of Project/Test Coordinator, the responsibility of coordinating materials, resources, and logistics required to facilitate the testing and certification of engines was both challenging and rewarding. This included created sensor lists for tests and coordinating with automation teams. Close involvement in project planning and determining timeline for testing activities was also an insightful experience.
With his experience of project management and coordination, he has a new found skill of looking at the big picture and understanding all the nuances of a project.
Nitin was born in Bellary and raised in Mangalore, on the southwest coast of India. From a very young age he was incredibly passionate about automobiles, motorcycles and aircraft. Ever since he started school he was aspiring to be someone who design and work closely with automobiles.
Many years since the early days he achieved his dream of becoming an automotive engineer. After gaining a few years of experience in the automotive industry, Nitin decided to explore new fields. He realised that he truly appreciated technology and loved solving problems be it process or industrial automation. He also through the years honed his people skills and is keen to work with different teams and understand different ways of approaching a technical problem. When he is relaxing, Nitin loves to spend a lot of time in his garden growing vegetables and roses.

Michael is a seasoned professional in the automotive industry, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in various roles. Throughout his decade-long career, he has gained a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances that come with working in the sector. However, in recent years, Michael’s focus has shifted towards Agile development, a methodology he has successfully used to drive positive outcomes for various key projects.
One of Michael’s previous assignments was as a software developer, where he worked closely with a team of manufacturing engineers responsible for creating scripts to automate new factories in China. Specifically, his work involved developing software for SWDL (Software DownLoad), running diagnostic tests and verification on the production line, and calibrating roller tests for engine, emission, and gearbox testing. Michael’s expertise in software development and automation was critical to the success of this project, allowing the team to streamline processes and improve efficiency in the factories.

Vasileios Manavis is a Software and Safety Engineer. His career is based on the automotive industry and his specialization lies in the safety aspect of the automotive SW and electronics. Having lived and worked in four different countries, he has witnessed several working environment and cultures. Therefore, he is an avid advocate of self-empowered teams with a common goal and purpose. So, alongside his hard skills, he is sharpening his soft and leadership skills as well. He has a problem-solving mentality while taking into consideration economical and business aspects. He instinctively thinks in “win-win” terms and loves turning any negative situation into an opportunity for growth. Academically speaking, Vasileios has a Computer Science bachelor’s degree from Athens, Greece and a MSc degree in Software Engineering and Green IT in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
His future aspirations include increasing and improving his professional skills and ultimately, build and nurture a team towards the completion of a purposeful goal. He believes that electrification is the future of not just the automotive, but the whole mobility industry . Vasileios was born and raised in a village of a remote island in Greece. Since a young age he has been a curious spirit and knew that he wanted to work in the automotive industry. That sparking moment was when he saw a Porsche Boxter outside the local bakery of his neighbourhood. Ever since, he has taken on an amazing journey towards achieving his goals and improving on all aspects of life. That journey led him to living and working in 4 different countries and speaking (in various levels) 5 different languages. Regardless the situation, he always carries a positive aura and empowers the people around him by offering empathy and a simple smile.
He loves sailing and racing in the Swedish archipelago and enjoying the Swedish nature in general. His other sport activities include swimming, running, gym and archery. His life motto is the ancient Greek saying “Νοῦς ὑγιὴς ἐν σώματι ὑγιεῖ” (Healthy mind in a healthy body) He abides by that motto by reading books on several life aspects while he is also writing his own book. To this day, Lisa still enjoys helping her parents with various IT-related issues and assembling furniture from IKEA.
